NCIC has reportedly sold 10,000 t of granular urea scheduled for October shipment at $464/t FOB Egypt under the sales tender closed on 7 October. Neither the buyer nor the destination of the cargo was known at press time. Rumour has it that the company may have sold a larger amount of the granular fertilizer at the aforementioned price than it intended, bringing the total quantity of the sold product to about 15,000 t.
