Demand for nitrates has emerged in the local forward market this week, with trade being moderately active.
CF Fertilisers has kept offering its AN at last week’s level. The fertilizer is assessed at £530—535/t CPT farm in big bags for May—June shipment.
Origin Soil Nutrition (previously known as Origin Fertilisers) has decreased its quotes for June-shipped AN by £15/t compared to its last week’s offer prices for the May-shipped fertilizer. The company has also cut its asking prices for CAN and CAN with sulphur scheduled for May and June dispatch by £25/t since last week.

European AN has also been available at €480—490/t (£415—424/t) CIF UK in bulk for June—July dispatch. CAN of the same origin has been up for sale at €420/t (£363/t) CIF UK in bulk for June shipment.
