
Some domestic producers have decreased official asking prices for granular urea by $95/t week on week to $610/t FOB Iran in bulk.Khorasan Petrochemical Company (KHPC) is currently offering 30,000 t of bulk granular urea on an FOB Assaluyeh basis for prompt dispatch. Note: the company makes only the prilled grade. KHPC is now offering Pardis Petrochemical’s granular fertilizer, which was exchanged for KHPC’s prilled product. KHPC is also offering 10,000 t of bulk prilled urea on an FCA Iran basis for spot shipment.
Masjed Soleyman Petrochemical Industries Company (MIS) is offering 30,000—70,000 t granular urea in bulk for May—early June shipment on an FOB Bandar Imam Khomeini basis.

Pardis and Shiraz Petrochemical are offering around 30,000—50,000 t granular urea in bulk each for May shipment, on an FOB Assalyeh and FOB Bandar Abbas basis, respectively.
On 12 May, Kermanshah Petrochemical Industries Company (KPIC) closed a tender to sell 30,000—45,000 t of the bulk granular variety on an FOB Bandar Imam Khomeini basis to be dispatched in May. The tender results are pending.
Rumor has it that a trader attempted to supply around 50,000 t of Iranian urea to India under the purchase tender that closed on 15 April. However, the shipment was reportedly cancelled.
Razi Petrochemical, Lordegan and Hengam Petrochemical Company remain idle. Shiraz is still producing only granular urea. MIS, KPIC and KHPC keep operating normally. Pardis has restarted only one out of its three granular urea plants.
