According to the latest information, NCIC has sold 10,000 t of granular urea under the tender closed on 27 April, instead of the initially offered 7,000 t, at $852/t FOB Egypt for shipment by late May. Note: under the tender conditions, the fertilizer was scheduled to leave the loading ports by the end of April.
Reminder: the company auctioned off 3,000 t of granular urea out of the initially offered 10,000 t at $830/t FOB Damietta for shipment by late April under the previous sales tender, which closed on 20 April. WFM excluded the price of $830/t FOB Egypt from the weekly assessment in accordance with its methodology, under which batches smaller than 5,000 t are disregarded.
