IPL has started inviting CFR India or FOB offers for 2.5 million t of bulk granular or prilled urea under the new purchase tender. About 1.5 million t of urea shall depart from loading ports to India’s West Coast and 1 million t to India’s East Coast by 14 June 2026. Producers or their authorized representatives and the suppliers having a mandate from producers shall submit their offers by 15 April 2026. They shall be valid until 23 April 2026.
Reminder: RCF signed letters of intent to buy by tender closed on 18 February 2026 1.307 million t of urea at $508/t CFR India’s West Coast and $512/t CFR India’s East Coast. The product initially had to leave loading ports for India’s West and East Coasts by 31 March 2026, while this deadline has reportedly been postponed until late April 2026.
