IPL has revealed offers of $352.10—465/t CFR India for about 5.349 million t it received from 30 suppliers under the tender closed on 7 October 2026. The product shall leave loading ports for India’s West and East Coasts by 1 December 2026.
Aditya Birla Global Trading and Millennium made the lowest offers of $356.25/t CFR India’s West Coast and $352.10/t CFR India’s East Coast, respectively. These are $37.40/t and $38.15/t below those RCF agreed for the fertilizer to be shipped to the country’s West and East Coasts under the purchase tender closed on 11 August 2026.
Market players suggest that suppliers have offered mostly Chinese urea to cover the whole request for 1.7 million t under IPL’s purchase tender.
According to sources, IPL has made counteroffers equalling the lowest quotes $356.25/t CFR India’s West Coast and $352.10/t CFR India’s East Coast under the tender.
