Similar cases were also reported at the China-Vietnam border, indicating broader compliance issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-93f6c5ee460aa1a380f57275558f0420 wp-block-paragraph\">In response, the General Administration of Customs of the People\u2019s Republic of China issued an urgent nationwide directive mandating 100% inspection of all AS shipments already declared and currently being at ports as of 24 April 2026. The measure has resulted in massive shipment delays, with inspections typically taking 7 to 14 days.<br>While AS exports are still leaving China, the stricter controls are tightening spot supply, and it is highly probable that the CIQ requirements will be applied to AS exports.
