RCF has made counteroffers equalling the lowest quotes of $393.65/t CFR India’s West Coast and $390.25/t CFR India’s East Coast from Ameropa, under the tender closed on 11 August 2026. As of press time, RCF had made these counteroffers to nine suppliers with the lowest initial offers. The suppliers were required to accept or reject the counteroffers by 15.00 Indian Standard Time on 14 August.
Sources say that RCF has received suppliers’ acceptances for 1.8835 million t of urea, out of which 748,000 t is for shipment to India’s East Coast and 1.1355 million t is for shipment to India’s West Coast.
Reminder: RCF initially requested about 1 million t of urea for shipment to India’s West Coast and 700,000 t for shipment to India’s East Coast, with departure from loading ports by 24 September.
